Pupils Do Summer Activities At South Frederick School
South Frederick Elementary students take part in summer programs funded by the Frederick County Board of Education. They visit sites like the Fish Hatchery and Washington Zoo, attend Mar La Ridge Camp, and enjoy classroom activities such as making candy and cookies. They keep logs, craft plaques, record stories, and tape them, while caring for classroom pets and using System 80 Trade Books and Language Experience Kits to build language skills.
