Frederick's 8 In One Inning Upsets Ijamsville
Frederick roared back from a 6-1 deficit by scoring eight runs in the sixth inning and two more in the seventh to beat Ijamsville 11 to 7 in game one of the State League playoffs. Jim Kinna pitched Frederick to the win, allowing 14 hits and striking out three. Danny Boone’s homer and a 13-hit team effort fueled the rally as Ijamsville could only muster one run in the eighth after a late push.
