Bomb Strike Seen With Mixed Value By U S General
Tokyo August 17 Maj Gen Emmett O Donnell commander Far East Bomber Command says Wednesday raid on North Korean troops at Waegwan was likely more psychological than military in impact. He calls it a 880 ton B 29 strike with 100 aircraft in the air but notes area was too large for saturation bombing and many Reds could hide among rugged terrain.
