Real Estate Is Real Estate On Which Nation Is Founded
Maryland's Soil Conservation Districts Law of 1937 fostered local farmer driven districts across 22 of 23 counties. Districts coordinate with the Extension Service and Soil Conservation Service to prevent erosion, improve drainage, and boost yields. Per acre gains cited include corn 25 percent and pasture 100 percent, with drainage doubling yields in Caroline, Queen Anne, Kent and Somerset counties.
