Telephone outage cut by city workers in Frederick area
Eastern Frederick and Baltimore Western Maryland faced a phone outage when city workers cut three cables at 119 E Patrick St on Monday. By Tuesday afternoon the 1500 pair line serving the east side remained down while crews completed repairs on the three toll cables and authorities blamed construction in downtown for the damage. Police reported no incidents during the disruption.
