Court Cases Heard in Frederick Magistrate Court
Frederick magistrate court heard multiple cases Thursday night. Marion Syllvester Ridgeley, 30, was found guilty of disturbing the peace after a 3 am disturbance on Middle Alley. initial three month sentence to the House of Correction was suspended, with a $25 fine. Clyde K. Lenhart, 20, was sentenced to the House of Correction for failure to support his wife, claiming about $40 weekly earnings. Joss William Rutherford and Harry Franklin Sears, both of Frederick, were found guilty on information. Rutherford fined $25 or 10 days, Sears 60 days with a $100 fine. Two intoxicated defendants received probation for “dragging” offenses on East All Saints Street. Additional arrests include Charles Typenski and Peter Hess for collateral forfeiture and failing to yield right of way.
