15 Passengers Hurt As New Bus Wrecks In Maryland
About 15 passengers were injured when a privately owned Federal streetcar type bus crashed into a pole and overturned near Weverton on the Baltimore and Ohio tracks. Jesse Nichols of Rohrersville was treated for lacerations at derick City Hospital. The driver, Snyder of Readingshire, allegedly tried to shift to a lower gear, and the bus, loaded with workmen for the Brunswick rail yards, sped off the road onto the hillside tracks after wrenching through a stop. First aid aided the injured. Nichols was the most seriously hurt but not in serious condition. Police reported the mishap reached Frederick about 7 30 this morning.

Airplanes and troops move through Frederick en route camps
A squadron of six airplanes bound for Shepherd Field Martinsburg W Va passed over Frederick Sunday afternoon with three flying low and three high. Morning routes included the First Separate Company colored Baltimore troops through Frederick to Camp Albert C Ritchie Cascade. Nearby, four Ampy trucks drove through Saturday night. Plans for Sunday return flights note this will be the last for the Martinsburg leg. The old Curtis J type planes are ordered cropped by September 1. Maj-ter Anton Stephen and his star of the Twenty-ninth Division along with Brig Gen Milton A Reckord, commander of several of the Fifty-eighth Brigade, will be in camp at Camp Ritchie.
