Centralizing Frederick County Schools Gains Support
A census of four Woodville District schools shows about 60 percent of patrons favor centralizing. Superintendent Palmer and County Board members toured schools, noting that a four-room central building could train children better while reducing teaching staff costs. Transportation would be provided by the school board, with few new buildings needed.
