Thunderstorms bring rain but little damage across Frederick County
Storms Wednesday night dumped 0.34 inch on gardens and cleared stagnant air while bringing thunder lightning and gusty winds. Some electrical lines fell north of Woodsboro and power outages hit Wolfsville Damascus Libertytown and upper Montgomery County. Temperatures cooled from 89 to 69 with more storms possible today and tonight. No major accidents reported though some street lights were out. The Monocacy and Potomac rivers are in good condition.
