Leon M Estabrook a Frederick county resident and former government agriculture census worker died at Sunny Hill Farm near Frederick after a yearlong illness He was 68 and survived by wife a daughter and a son He wrote travel letters for The News and spoke to local groups Funeral services are set at his home Monday with burial in Rack Creek Washington area funeral directors C E Cline and Son provided arrangements

Pneumonia Fatal To Student Of Md. School
Robert Burbank Muckey, a 1937 Maryland State School for the Deaf graduate from Baltimore, died at nineteen after a short pneumonia illness. Funeral services were held at his home with church officials and school superintendent Dr Ignatius Boorlee interpreting. Six classmates served as pallbearers. Muckey, deaf since infancy, excelled academically, won several prizes, engaged in scouting, and planned to attend Gallaudet College. Maryland School faculty attended the funeral.

Five persons were injured when a head on collision occurred on South Mountain Friday after a vehicle from Des Moines and another from Washington, DC, clashed on the highway. Injuries included cuts and bruises, none serious. Utterback was fined $10 for failure to keep to the right. Willett party altered plans and returned home.

US Cruiser Augusta Arrives in Shanghai Harbor
