Court Sets Aside Nicodemus Deed In Maryland Case

In Frederick County Circuit Court, a decision favors the plaintiff heirs of Mrs. America E. B. Nicodemus, ruling her 1919 deed to Harmon Nicodemus invalid. The estate, valued about $10,000 to $12,000, includes city real estate, bonds, savings deposits, and cash. The court voids transfer, directs accounting, and restrains further disposition of property. The ruling notes Mrs. Nicodemus was not of sound mind when she deeded to her grandson, who was a minor, leading to the property being restored to the estate for proper division.
