Nine-year-old shines at Howard County Fair beef show
Josh Hough, a Mount Airy fifth grader, weighed 60 pounds among half ton cattle yet won two grand champion and three reserve champion honors in beef, with his Shorthorn heifer F and S Princess Bell taking grand champion. He joins 4-H horse, pig and sheep events, praising 4-H leaders and dreaming of Marines and farm life. Other breeders and animals also earned top titles across Angus, Hereford and Shorthorn classes.
