Home Health Benefits By Special Delivery
Medicare will deliver home health benefits beginning July 1 1966 under a plan requiring hospitalization of at least three days before services. Benefits include nursing care, physical, occupational and speech therapy, social work, home health aide services, and medical supplies with limits. Services outside the home may be provided with transport at the patient’s expense, and total visits may reach 100 with care ongoing under physician supervision for up to one year after discharge.
