London reports the German Army under von Hindenburg nearing the Dvina river line between Riga and Dvinsk with Petrograd less than 300 miles away. Kovno fortress holds. Russians fortify and redeploy defenses as Austro German strategy aims at reaching Petrograd while retreating from Warsaw.
Yegmen operated at Atglen and Cheater county before leaving Lancaster. From Morris Chalfant’s home they seized a large amount of jewelry.
