Descendants of Phillip Edward and Elizabeth Ellen Flook held their 33rd annual reunion at Ballenger Creek Grange Hall Feagaville on July 25. A 113 person picnic buffet followed a short business meeting and a watermelon weight guessing contest. Next reunion slated for July 24 1994 at the Feagaville Grange Hall with many Flook relatives attending from area families and lodges.
Helena Lewis Smith organized the sixth annual reunion for Harman R aad descendants on Sunday June 27 at Petersville Farmers Picnic Woods. A buffet lunch was served, prizes awarded, and children enjoyed games. the next reunion is planned for June 26 at the same location with attendees listed including Clarence Wolfe Jr and several Smith Wolfe Lantz Houser and Stine families.
Ann Boyd of Frederick a Hood College biology professor and director of the Biomedical Sciences Program is named acting dean of Hood College Graduate School. A molecular biologist she heads Hood's Graduate Biomedical Sciences program has lectured since 1963 and 1991 she studied China and Russia with U S science delegations.
