Carroll County to extend school fluoride rinse program
Carroll County health department will continue the voluntary fluoride rinse program for Hempstead and Taneytown elementary schools next year. Last year participation was nearly universal for grades K through five and many parents praised improved dental health. Hampstead and Taneytown lack fluoridated water, so the program targets areas most in need.
