Deputy sheriff cruiser collides with car on Rosemont Ave

A Frederick County Sheriff's Office report states at 2 30 a m Deputy Scott Blundell traveling east on Rosemont collided with a car making a left turn. Driver Tracie Lynn Duvall 23 Frederick not injured passenger Dorothy Elaine Harrison 52 Frederick treated and released. Duvall charged with driving while intoxicated uninsured vehicle and failure to yield left turn.

Frederick man stabbed. victim stable at FMH

A Frederick man was injured in a stabbing early Wednesday and hospitalized at Frederick Memorial Hospital in stable condition. John Hankey, 21, was treated after being taken by friends. State police believed the incident occurred in the Gambrill Park area as investigators worked with limited details.

Edgeworks Fire Draws City Fire Response

A 5:07 p.m. blaze at Edgeworks, 141 N. Market St., drew six fire trucks and rerouted traffic for about an hour. A smoldering ballast started the fire, burning floor joists, causing about 200 dollars in damage. Firefighters removed a three-foot insulation pile. Missing youth found unharmed near Mountaindale

A 12-year-old boy reported missing from Stretch Court Tuesday evening was found hiding in a wooded area behind an uncle’s Mountaindale house at 7:30 p.m. after a helicopter and state police K-9 search. investigators cited sightings near Mount Pleasant and Mountaindale.
