Fishing Contests Exempted By Senate
Washington August 9 Senate passed a bill to exempt monoprofit fishing contests from anti lottery postal rules. Restrictive clause tentatively approved in Baltimore
The State Insurance Department tentatively approves a restrictive clause for life policies covering men liable for military service. It would refund premiums or policy reserves if death occurs during active service or within six months after return, not applying to policies already in force. Suit for damages over car accident filed in Frederick County
Charles A. Staley filed a $1,000 damages suit in Circuit Court naming Floyd Clapp and Daniel L Fisher after an June 25 collision on Route 73 near Frederick.
