Two Dentists Drown At DuPont Club Pool Near Petersburg
Dr John Michalko a Hopewell dentist and Dr W F Woody of Hopewell were drowned in the DuPont Club of Virginia pool at City Point Petersburg Va early today. Ted Clark of Hopewell was nearly drowned while trying to救 save them. Dr Woody drowned while attempting to aid Dr Michalko who was pulled under by the drowning man.

Mrs Lena Tidar aged 72 was found dead in her bed in Newark New Jersey after being strangled by an intruder who gained entry through a window from a shed.
