Shot and Killed His Father in Accidental Gun Explosion
A Hurri cording dispatch reports Joseph B Hench of Juniata township Perry county was shot in the heart and killed by his 8 year old son. The child, while removing a jammed cartridge from a Flobert rifle, caused the weapon to discharge striking his father as he approached. The tragedy followed the father’s return from Bloomfield where he had been in court.
