Frederick County School Board Advances New High School Plans

Twenty years ago the board approved preliminary designs by Baltimore architect Edward Hofstetter for the new Central junior senior high school and sent them to the State Department of Education for final approval. The Frederick County School Board met with Pomona delegation to discuss moving an agricultural course from Emmitsburg High School to Thurmont. Donnie Keller and Tom Moss hit back to back triples in the seventh inning, giving Frederick Junior Legion a 4 3 win over Fort Cumberland and clinching the District championship at College Park.
