Judge orders removal of auto crash suit to Montgomery court
In Montgomery county circuit court Judge Arthur D. Willard ordered the removal of a $5,000 damages suit filed by Robert C. Blickenstall against Ernest Hay and Lee Imler over an August 10 1933 auto collision on the Baltimore and Frederick highway. Blickenstall alleges the Hay owned truck driven from a filling station caused great pecuniary loss and two weeks of absences from work. The defendants seek transfer for fair trial. counsel are Leslie N. Coblentz for the plaintiff and C W Smith for the defendants, all residents of Pennsylvania except Blickenstall from near Wolfsville.

In Brunswick the election produced a sweeping mayoral victory for Mage as he carried the second and third wards by large margins. Mayor Harry R Mace won in the first ward by 321 votes while his overall mayoral lead exceeded 300, with Myers and other candidates failing to erode he margin. Council races shifted to favor the Mace-Jones faction, producing a 4-2 council split after results.
