Denver August 7 A special dispatch from El Paso reports the trial of Editor Cutting proceeding at ten o clock. The court clerk, interpreter and officials, plus American press witnesses, attended. Cutting refused to recognize the court claiming lack of jurisdiction. Prosecutor Sierra delivered his arguments and witness Medina spoke to charges. Cutting’s counsel contended the prior action ended Medina s claim. The judge convicted Cutting. fifteen days remain to pronounce sentence. Cyclone demolishes Hartland Kansas houses and damages crops.
