Two Middleburg children die in old refrigerator
Two young Middleburg children, James Robertson five and Jennifer Robertson three, were found dead Thursday after reportedly missing since 4 p.m. They were believed to have locked themselves inside an abandoned refrigerator on their back porch. State police and a helicopter searched the rural area but could not access the unit. Coroner Dr. Richard Jones pronounced them dead at the scene. The parents were treated at Carroll County General Hospital and released.
