Mayor Culler authorized city to enter lease with several firms including Sears Roebuck A and P Tivol Theater and Bells for a parking lot. City to receive 1200 annually for ten years with early occupancy, bonds, and shared access rights while maintaining city ownership of improvements.
The Board of Aldermen may approve a two ten year lease for part of the city parking lot on South Court Street. Loues Bells Investment Broker of Washington would take over the section now used by a service station on October 1 with annual rent of 1500 dollars. The property would be used as a Hot Shoppe or restaurant and for sale of merchandise typical of such an enterprise, including alcoholic beverages.
Eugene Potts 21 son of a renowned blue baby surgeon was located in Texas today as a private in the Army air force. He had been missing since June 2 after leaving Rochester New York and had massed from University of Rochester classes. His father appealed for help last week in the search.
