Fast draw legend Dee Woolen recalls blazing gun show days
Corona veteran Dee Woolen, once billed as the fastest gun alive, recalls drawing and firing in 12 hundredths of a second during the 1950s show circuit. He says crowds flocked to his acts, taught stars and millionaires, and helped launch modern fast draw with Knott's Berry Farm stunts and an electronic timing device.

Take me out to the gallery a sports art enterprise
Jim Kehoe blends sports memorabilia with fine art in a Frederick gallery. Son of University of Maryland athletic figure Jim Kehoe, he curates baseball stadium prints from Griffith Stadium to Memorial Stadium and iconic venues. He collaborates on Camden Yards night scenes and holds prints of Mantle, Mays, Koufax, and other legends. He notes today’s buyers lean male sports fans and that pieces evoke memories beyond individual players.
