Power plant acid rain concerns raised in Annapolis
Roy told the Store Water Quality Advisory Committee at the Maryland Department of Agriculture that the facility operates as designed and should have no weather concerns. Girl 14 in critical condition after Md 26 crash
A 14 year old Frederick girl remained in critical condition after a two car and tractor trailer crash on Md 26 at Chestnut Grove Road Friday afternoon. Tamara Road 1774 Valley Side Drive was transported to MIEMS in Baltimore Saturday morning. The Rev Charles E Read was driving the other vehicle. Dayhoff driver Joseph Larry Dayhoff Westminster was charged with failure to reduce speed negligent driving and unsafe vehicle. The Gremlin operator Robert Eugene Dorsey 56 was not hospitalized. Ford flagman David Witham Ford treated and released.

Morin Faces Sign Hurdle Over FBI Lounge Name
In Old Lyme Connecticut Raymond Morin says he named two taverns First Boy In to honor a local phrase, but two FBI agents ordered him to remove a sign at the FBI Lounge. Morin, owner of the new non alcoholic bar, says the initials stand for First Boy In while the Old Saybrook location has eight months of operation. He told reporters he would remove the sign to avoid jail.
