The War Department notified Mrs. W. S. Devilbiss of New Windsor that James Donald Bowersox Boatswain's Mate First-Class U S Navy a prisoner of war since the fall of the Philippine Islands has been transferred to Osaka prison camp in Japan. Bowersox 30 served twelve years in the Navy and was in China waters at the war’s start aboard the Salt Lake City. He is a stepbrother of Mrs. John R. Keating of New Windsor who last heard from him five years ago.
