Kelbaugh Retiring After Twenty-Two Years as Thurmont Postmaster
Earl T. Kelbaugh retired after twenty two years as Thurmont postmaster and will move to Ferdonia Arena to live with his son in law and daughter Marc Sagan a National Park Service naturalist. He served in WWI with the 90th Division and held banking roles before becoming postmaster in 1936. Lee Munshower named acting postmaster as the area notes his career and community involvement.
