Woman Dies From Overdose Of Prescribed Medicine
A 51 year old Thurman woman Mildred Violet Owens died of an overdose at her West Main Street home. State police say she had taken too much medication while under care of several doctors. Cause of death pending medical examiner review with possible foul play suspected. A separate incident left 14 year old Perry Abraham Imes severely burned when he aggravated a grill fire with gasoline on Flint Hill Road west of Urbana. He sustained second and third degree burns over about 40 percent of his upper body. He was treated at Frederick.
