Five Lashes for Wife Beating in Baltimore Jail
James H Kingsmore, convicted wife beater, received five lashes on his bare back with nine tails in the Baltimore city jail. The Blue Ridge Transportation Company unveiled a new schedule effective Sunday May 2 adding evening departures on routes from Baltimore and Washington to Frederick. Five Baltimore trips start at 7.30 am 5.05 am and 1.05 pm 1.35 pm and 6 pm with a new Washington Frederick run at 10.40 am and last Frederick return at 6.10 pm. Additional Washington departures shift to earlier times to extend city access for passengers.
