In Atlante Georgia on April 28 EL Standifer was acquitted of murder in the March 9 killing of sister Chapelle Whiterant. Standifer pleaded not guilty while admitting the shooting saying emotional insanity drove the deed. Letters between sisters and a husband’s attentions sparked the tragedy.
