City officials report water rent collections surpass budget projections for the year. Through April 28 1937 Col Schroeder ledger shows 63099.80 received, about 4000 more than last year and delinquent accounts reduced from 17000 to a few thousand. Officials expect around 70000 for the year with months to go. Alderman Grove noted the budget estimate had been exceeded at a special meeting.
