Michael More, 43, of Mount Ephraim Road, Adamstown, received a $250,000 bail on first and second degree assault warrants while recovering from shotgun pellet wounds at Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. He was shot by Trooper First Class Pat Morris after allegedly pointing a shotgun at officers during a stop on Mount Ephraim Road. Maryland State Police reported a 22-year-old Union Bridge man was seriously injured Tuesday night on Md. 75 near Artie Kemp Road after an unregistered 1999 Honda four wheeler, without headlights, struck a parked dump truck with a trailer and back hoe. He was flown to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore in serious condition. Separately, a dirt bike rider, Christopher Glenn Young, 19, of Frederick, was injured Sunday on Md. 180 at Mount Zion Road after colliding with a Chevrolet Blazer. he was admitted to Frederick Memorial Hospital in good condition and faces traffic charges including driving while intoxicated.
