Man Leaves To Plow And Kills Himself With Borrowed Gun
William Shuff 51 of Wolfsville left home early to plow and was found dead in a field. He borrowed a teenage shotgun from neighbor Barry Blickenstaff and, with a forked stick pressing the trigger, died by his own action. Elgin Stottlemyer heard a shot, found him, and an inquest returned a verdict of death by own action. Survived by wife and eight children.
