Radiation Density Study Traveled Across 19 States For Insight
A commission surveyed 152 site measurements from New York to Utah last summer to assess how altitude affects natural radiation. The study found higher elevations show larger radiation increases, yet not as dramatic as expected, and aims to relate these levels to health data on mutations and diseases to gauge risks from low-dose radiation and man made sources.
