New Homes Needed Annually For Population Growth
An AGC of America summary estimates about 310000 new homes are needed each year to house population growth and account for loss of housing. The report notes mortality of families, urban expansion, and fires as factors, with urban areas building more homes as city populations rise. It cites 1920 data from 196 cities and outlines ongoing housing needs amid urban growth. A Bible class formation and Boston University note appear in the same issue.
