UN evacuates more wounded from Gorazde amid Serb withdrawal

U.N. troops evacuated additional wounded from Gorazde as a second aid convoy arrived after Serb forces pulled back under NATO pressure. NATO demanded withdrawal beyond three kilometers from the town center by Sunday, with indications Serbs would retreat to meet a twenty kilometer radius. 247 peacekeepers arrived, helicopters shuttled wounded, and U.N. officials noted fewer casualties on the streets as fighting eased.

Detrick honors Nixon at Fort Detrick ceremonies

Fort Detrick will host honors for former President Richard M. Nixon with a dawn 6 a.m. reveille, half hour gun salutes, and a 10 a.m. reading of Nixon's death announcement. Fire Damages Historic Brunswick Square Building

A week ago a fire gutted a Brunswick Square building with roots back to 1900.
