Lions Plan Aids In Locating Rural Fires In Yellow Springs
The Yellow Springs Lions Club began a project to help firemen locate rural homes by mapping area roads and posting mailbox numbers on a county map enlarged to 12 by 12 inches. Two maps were given to the Independent Hose Company for placement on county trucks to direct residents by mailbox number and name. Firemen approve, noting easier access for chimney or minor fires. The district covers Rural Routes 3 and 7 from Frederick post office, extending from U.S. 15 to Gambrill Park and from Mountaindale road to the city line. Three To Get Trial For Selling To Minors
Three persons face magistrate court Tuesday on charges of selling alcoholic beverages to minors after city police investigation. Roland A Cline of the Blue Lantern Cafe and Doris Wachter, plus Frederick and Sally Stockman of Middletown, were summoned. Two local youths, 16 and 18, allegedly obtained beer from the cafe Thursday night. Investigators Lieut Ralph Potts Det Lieut A Norman Dietz and Det Sergt Ellis Carty led the probe.

City's Annual Cleanup Campaign Starts Monday
Frederck Orts's annual Spring Clean-up campaign will get underway Monday in the southern section of the city. In Poplarville Mississippi a gang of masked men seized M C Parker a 23 year old Black man awaiting trial on rape charges.
