Three Negroes Arrested After Chase Through Monocacy Area
Three men named Joseph Buker Ogden Foxtaine and William Carter claiming Baltimore as their home were arrested after a two hour pursuit along the Monocacy river and near Reichs Ford by Sheriff James A. Jones and Deputy Charles W. Smith. They fled a home two miles from the city and were lodged in jail to face a hearing before Justice J Grahame Johnson this afternoon.
