Local Scout Council Names New Executive Director
Georgia MW Pawlowski was appointed executive director of the Penn Laurel Gurf Scout Council covering Adams Franklin Fulton Lancaster Lebanon and York counties in Pennsylvania and Frederick County. A Texas native she previously led adult education for Rockland County Girl Scout Council in New York and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Texas Woman’s University. She lives in Lancaster.

Olson graduates from SNCO Academy at Camp Lejeune
Marine Staff Sgt. Chris M. Olson, son of Anna M and Clifford J. Olson Sr. of 41 E Fourth St. Frederick, graduated from the Staff Noncommissioned Officers Academy at Camp Lejeune NC.
