Capital of Steamship Trust Formed by J P Morgan
A New York report states a steamship trust led by J P Morgan will carry a capital of 170 million dollars with 60.29 million in cumulative preferred stock 100.6 million common stock and 50 million 434 per cent debentures. An underwriting syndicate has secured 56 million 44 per cent of which abroad, with the rest to be arranged. The corporate title remains undetermined and an American charter is planned with a working arrangement with German lines North German Lloyd and Hamburg American.
