Rescuers worked to free people trapped under rubble after a major earthquake hit Costa Rica and western Panama. At least 74 were killed and 830 injured with thousands homeless. Puerto Limon suffered the worst damage as aftershocks continued and 300 plus aftershocks were recorded.
