Potomac Edison rally for worst division emergency
In April a severe windstorm hit the Potomac Edison Eastern Division affecting 30 000 to 40 000 customers. The PE nerve center on East Patrick Street Frederick coordinated a full mobilization under an emergency plan to restore service quickly with crews from Hagerstown and other divisions. By April 4 dawn most customers had power restored and the team credited with a successful operation despite the scale of damage.
