Movements Pose Threat to Western Democracies
Frederick Kiwanis heard Rev. Dr. Edwin Sponseller warn of leftist movements such as socialism and communism threatening Western democracies. He spoke on the rise of these movements, the dangers they pose, and the need to balance extremes while addressing internal strains from taxation and educational shifts. The talk covered historical roots since the Renaissance, postwar pressures, and the importance of spiritual renewal.
