Potomac Fish Advised Limits Over PCB Contamination
Maryland and Virginia environmental officials warn that catfish eel and carp from a 38 mile stretch of the Potomac River near the Woodrow Wilson Bridge may contain PCBs. Limit channel catfish over 18 inches to one eight ounce meal per month and avoid large eels and carp. infants children and women of childbearing age urged to skip the fish. Smaller catfish are not affected.

Sheriff seeks help identifying suspect at mall store
Deputies with the Frederick County Sheriff's Office seek help identifying a man who exposed himself to customers at Walden Book Store inside Francis Scott Key Mall in the evening of April 14. Two arrested in drug raid in Thurmont home
Thurmont police say two more residents of 108 Park Lane were arrested on warrants after a April 11 drug raid. Kevin Bransford, 22, and Sean Watson, 21, face charges of manufacturing and distributing a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and theft over $300. Marijuana plants, drug paraphernalia, sign theft, and fireworks were seized. Bransford and Watson posted $1,500 bail each and were released from the Frederick County jail.
