A discussion of the Shroud of Turin and its alleged link to Jesus Christ focuses on Mary Magdalene at the tomb, the discovery of wrappings, and the shroud’s documented history from the Holy Land to Turin. The article notes Pia’s 1898 photographs and later scientific studies that questioned or supported its authenticity through various analyses and the claimed Holy Land pollen.
