Southern Dairies acquires Nicodemus Ice Cream plant
Southern Dairies Inc has bought the Nicodemus Ice Cream Company in Frederick and will operate its plant as part of its 60 plant network. The deal values assets near 150000 dollars, with the Frederick unit maintaining local identity and personnel. The expanded group now totals eleven ice cream firms, financed by 47500 shares of Class A stock, making Southern Dairies a 14000000 dollar enterprise.
