Edna Zimmerman of South Market Street will be tried in police court tonight before Justice Guy K Motter at 7 o'clock on charges of assault and battery and fighting on the street. A warrant, sworn by Ethel Collins' father, alleges she attacked Collins on West Seventh Street near Betz Street Saturday evening, struck her, pulled her hat and mistreated her. Police say Zimmerman drove to the Dents and Serenity intersection and waited for Collins, then attacked as she returned from work, dragging her by the hair across Seventh Street. The complainant was injured and unable to appear tonight. John Tonsil Sr., colored, was arrested Saturday night for drunken and disorderly conduct.
