Late tax filers trade excuses at deadline

At the Frederick post office last night final day filers crowded the desk as a rush to meet the midnight postmark deadline continued. The move aligns with the county plan to guide growth, though staff notes the site lies inside town limits on light industrial land. The board also approved two additional ag preservation districts and a continued discussion on land use as they voted last night.
